War from the Heart

Please join us as we attempt to set another world record with the return of The War from the Heart! (AKA The Birthday War, The War of the Two Geoffreys, etc)

This year, as with the first birthday war, we will be benefiting the American Heart Association. Come on out and make a donation to a good cause.

The goal this year is to fight 125 battles. This means that we will have to start on time. That means that we Lay-On at 9:00 am Sharp!

This is a fun, fast-paced war. As in the past, the teams will shift around every few battles, half of the battles will have a 9' weapon limit and half of the battles will have a 7.5' weapon limit. If combat archery marshals are present to do inspections, CA will be allowed in alternating battles.

There will be archery in as many of the battles as we can manage - come on out archers, you know that you want to play at the War from the Heart.

So, come on out to Penetencia Creek Park (site of past birthday wars, Wargys & the War Collegium) and fight 'til you just can't fight no more!
